My Son is Me Inc. plans to focus on young boys ages 8 to 13, a time period of pre-adolescence that is critical in human development.

Founder, James Wright is a long time community volunteer in youth sports leagues and is a law enforcement professional who was born, reared and currently works and volunteers in Newark.  He saw a huge need in attending to this age due to the gap of services available for boys who are 8 to 13 year-olds.  This part of a child’s development is critical and what one experiences during this time affects their development.
